Wendell Moore has been involved in public policy and governmental organization work for three decades, starting when he joined U.S. Congressman Robin Beard’s staff as a legislative intern in 1980. While on Capitol Hill, he served as the legislative director to U.S. Congressman John Duncan, Jr. and later as the legislative director to U.S. Congressman Don Sundquist. In addition to his experience on Capitol Hill, Wendell has served in the federal level Executive Branch under Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush, in the state level as principal deputy and chief of staff to Tennessee Governor Don Sundquist and in numerous political campaigns. He is also the former deputy to the chairman of the Republican National Committee.
